Accused Sahid @ Suhit@ Kiri Murmu (33 yrs) s/o Lt. Tarapada @ Lade Murmu Vill. Gidhuria P.S. Chhatna, Dist. Bankura is sentenced u/s 235(2) Cr.P.C to suffers rigorous imprisonment for ten years for committing offence u/s 376 IPC, also to pay fine of Rs. 50,000/- in default to suffer further R.I. for six months. He is also sentenced to suffers u/s 235(2) Cr.P.C. to suffers R.I. for six months for committing offence u/s 323 IPC, also to pay fine of Rs. 1,000/- i.d. to suffer further R.I. for one month. Both the sentence shall run concurrently. The period of detention of the convict shall be set off u/s 428 Cr.P.C.
