On 10.08.2015 a Blood Donation Camp was organised at Bankura Police Lines. Total 507 Police Personnel donated blood on this day which is highest with respect to the number of blood donars in a single camp in this district.

‘Sarad Samman’ award at Mejia P.S.
Mejia P.S. awarded ‘Sharad Samman‘ to different Durga Puja Committees of PS area on 22.11.15. A magazine named ‘PATHACHALA‘ of Mejia P.S. has been inaugurated by S.P. Bankura on that day. Besides this Gouriya dance, Chhou dance, etc have been organized.
