On 2nd day of “ANNADAN” project of Bankura Police District , Lunch of Rice, Dal, Vegetables, Egg and Chutney was served to 250+ people of Dahala GP covering Dahala , Dakai and Hetiasole villages under Khatra Block.
S.P Bankura, Shri Koteswara Rao N, IPS, Addl SP Rural Shri Ganesh Biswas, SDPO Khatra, IC Khatra PS and Police team distributed the food.
Around 30 persons who couldn’t come were personally served food via door to door delivery. All the persons were thermally screened and made aware of the hygienic measures to be adopted for preventing Corona infection.
This efforts inspired by Honourable Chief Minister, West Bengal will continue for next one month on a pilot basis.
