Sarenga P.S. organised Late Rabi Lochan Mitra Memorial Run on 25.02.2016 to commemorate the Martyr Day of Late Rabilochan Mitra, the then Inspector In-Charge of Sarenga P.S. who scarified his life due to Maoist attack on 25.02.2010. On this occasion Marathon Race Competition was organized for Male, Female & Boys category on the part of Bankura District Police in a befitting manner as a part of Community Policing. Clothes were distributed among the downtrodden people of the locality. Apart from this, the excellent work of Civic Volunteers was recognized.
