A camp was organised at Late Prabal Sengupta Smriti Shishu Shiksha Niketan at Satnala Kargapara under Barikul P.S. to serve various basic requirements of the poor and deprived. Public service ranging from distribution of food and clothing, to free eye and total health check up was organised.
A total of 436 persons (Eye check up – 257, Dental check up – 38, general health check up – 141) of remote villages were benefited from this camp. 81 persons prescribed by medical experts will get spectacles and 76 persons with eye problems will be operated upon, 100% free of cost. Cloths have been distributed among 130 poor people. ‘Khichuri’ was distributed to all participants.
