Gangajal Ghati is located at 23° 25′ 0″ North, 87° 7′ 0″ East and 30 km north from District HQ. Gangajal Ghati is the main town and Barsol, Bhaktabandh, Gobindadham, Lachmanpur, Latiabani, Nityandapur and Pirrabaniare the semi town of this PS.Gangajal Ghati is the main market and there are two weakly market (HAAT) at Gobindhum (sitting day-Wednesday/saturday) and Salbedia(sitting day- Sunday/Tuesday). People of this area are mainly depending on agriculture.
